How the Film Industry Uses Media convergence

Media Convergence refers to the interconnection of networks, media content, information, etc. and the film industry does this in many ways in order to promote and reach their audience. In class today, me and my partner were tasked with finding a film product and showcasing the different ways media convergence was used. The film we choose was "Bad Boys for Life" which is a sequel in which 2 detectives come together, one of them handsome and young and the other older and dealing with aging. The movie showcases the hardships they each dealt with personally and professionally. As seen in the photo below we provided media convergence in the form of print media, TV, Digital media, and audio. Our examples included Websites, photography, commercials, music albums, and magazines. We provided information as to specific media platforms and how audiences are able to access and consume the media forms.
