Psychographics  

This movie targets those with a belief system that aligns with victims overcoming trials and tribulations. The personality traits most present in this film include neuroticism and narcissism. In the film the abusive obsessive stalker went great lengths to ensure that the woman he wanted was his like murdering her husband and parents and isolating her away from friends, family, and her job. He used her memory loss as means to manipulate her into his crazed fantasy. The tones in the film include dramatic, manipulative, fearful, serious, depressing, horrific. The lifestyle in the film falls under survivor once the main character realizes the grave danger, she was in she does all she can while being injured to escape and find authorities. The psychographic target audience attacks strugglers. People mostly women that may be dealing with domestic violence or unsafe situations like living with an unsafe party.

Hey everyone this is my first post on my blog! To me, media studies are the way to learn about how the media has changed and evolved, how media is used today, and all the effects that it has had in our society. The things that I have learned so far have impacted the way I perceive or consume media products. It made me stop and think about all the codes and marketing strategies etc. that I have somehow never paid much attention to or noticed. It helps me digest the world differently. Media studies have so far taught me the importance of understanding how the media is used to engage audiences.      What I hope to get out of the experience of learning media studies is generating a basic understanding of how media affects me and how I can apply to know those skills to my soon adult/career life. Setting, Set Design, and Props Preliminary Exercise

 Production Design  Production design is the overall visual look or aesthetic of a story. There are different factors that make up production design in a movie including setting, set design, and props. These three contribute greatly to the overall feel the audience decodes. The role that setting plays is showing the importance of the place the movie takes place in to the plot. Set design can also widely contribute to the feelings of the characters in the scene and props do this also. The production designer is responsible for production design. It is significant to audience because it helps convey deeper meaning for the audience to decode. The primary purpose of production design is to create a mood, articulate themes, and eternalizes the state of a character.
